  1. let no man decieve you

Hi I’m new here and I was looking around your blog. Some things I read are a blessing but I saw xmas songs and thought I have to speak the truth. I will never put Christ name on a pegan holiday. He was not born on this day, no were in the bible does it say that, people have trusted in man on his birth. If he wanted us to know the day of his birth he would of said like he did when he was resurrected. It even speaks about xmas trees in Jeremiah 10:1-5.
Here is a website that speaks truth about pegan holidays, http://www.lasttrumpetministries.org/ go to his tracts. He kows both the dark and light side. I praise God for delievering this man. Read about him.
I didn’t come here to cause strife but to speak truth.

    God Bless you all

    • We do not believe that Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day either. We believe that it is more than likely that He was born around late September/early October timeframe. We appreciate your concern, although some of it is sincerely misguided.

For example, Jeremiah 10:1-5 is a standard argument that has been used for the last 30 years or so in extreme fundamentalism that leans to legalism. This verse in context has nothing to do with “xmas” trees as you put it. The decoration of trees at the winter season did not actually take place in regards to Christmas until the 17th or 18th century and started predominantly in England.

Thanks for reading though and stopping by. Our websites have much important biblical doctrine that should be the main focus of anybody stopping by.
